New Beginnings

Time to rethink an old work-in-progress?

Here's a great way to un-kink that knitting without changing the nature of the yarn dramatically (which wetting can do).

Tear out the work, and wind around your arm, a chair or best, a swift.  Fasten well, using a smooth contrast color in several places.
Not shown here, but do learn from my mistake!

Set your steam iron on hot, and inject steam into the yarn.

Here the iron is just touching the higher kinks of yarn, but never 'irons'.

Lots of steam.

Pull it out straight as the yarn cools.

 Rewind into balls.

 Happy Knitting.
Happy 2013.
