Orange Vinegar

Have you seen the picture and somewhat vague directions on pinterest or facebook?
Make your own cleaner...with orange and vinegar.
Of course it appeals to me on so many levels!

Here is my interpretation:

One clean half gallon canning jar with plastic lid.
(The size was chosen because it was empty.)
Wash and peel a 5# bag of organic Navel oranges, saving the fruit.
The peels fill the jar.
Top with grocery store brand white distilled vinegar,
using less than 1/2 of a gallon.
Poke with a plastic chopstick to push the peels down and release any air bubbles.
Sit for 7 - 10 days, being shaken lightly each day.

Halve the 15 peeled oranges, and use the tip of a knife to remove any seeds.
Here is one held up to a bright window to show if there are seeds hiding...

The halves are frozen, ready to toss into smoothies.
The vinegar will be poured into a spray bottle for cleaning everything.

Post note:
The frozen orange halves are perfect for smoothies.
The undiluted spray is effective and smells much more orange than vinegar.
I could only wait 7 days before trying it!!
